Food Safety Association LLC, or FSA, provides consulting, testing and inspection services for restaurants and hotels in all of South Florida. FSA is a registered test administrator and proctor with the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals and ServeSafe. FSA was founded by Robert Martinez, a former health inspector for the State of Florida, in order to help all restaurants and hotels meet and exceed state standards.

In his seven years as a health inspector, Robert inspected and educated restaurants and hotels on food safety and cleanliness to ensure the safety and well being of the general public when dining out in South Florida. The diversity in South Florida provided Robert with the knowledge, skills and demand that are required for a restaurant to succeed in this challenging industry. This very demand is why he created the need for Food Safety Association LLC.
EXPERIENCE THAT COUNTS
Robert Martinez was born and raised in Miami, Florida graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor in Business Administration. Upon graduating, he started his career as a Sanitation and Safety Specialist (“Health Inspector”) for the State of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulations, Division of Hotels and Restaurants. As a state inspector, Robert was responsible for following Florida Statues Chapter 509, Lodging and Food Service Establishments and Chapter 83 Landlord Tenant Act.
